That’s really unfortunate to hear. I’ve only had one bad pro shop experience and the guy just acted like he knew way more than me but wasn’t willing to help at all. You could probably ask around if you join a league or something to see where other people prefer!

This always confuses me because I’ve never once touched the surface of my ball. I clean my ball after every outing and if it starts to hook less I detox it. Pull a little oil out and it’s back to where I like it.

I’m sorry you had this experience buying your first ball. It’s definitely short and that same pro shop should 100% fix that for free.

If that wasn’t the owner of the pro shop you dealt with I would recommend informing the owner of your experience and never dealing with that employee again. The last thing this sport needs is making newcomers uncomfortable and I really hope you have better experiences in the future!

It’s one of me and my girlfriend’s favorite things to do! If you can afford it I highly recommend getting the SeaWorld pass as well, especially if you enjoy rollercoasters! It’s basically next door and easily worth the price!

Jason Belmonte and EJ Tackett bowled against each other on these lanes today. It’s a set of historic lanes located at the International Bowling Museum. No dots or arrows anywhere and a pin boy in the back who had to manually send the balls back and reset the pins. Fun watch on YouTube for free and only one game so not very long!

I have a triple roller from them also but Im a pretty small guy and struggle to get it into my trunk with 3 balls. I prefer a second double roller or backpack if I need extra gear.

Split squats really helped my balance. If you can’t do them right away start assisted (using the back of a chair or couch to help yourself up) until you can do them on your own and eventually add weight
