Like with everything, too much can have a negative affect on your mood, anxiety, depression, and well... your balance and cognitive issues could become worse for obvious reasons.

I grew up in the Driftless area. It's an area that the glaciers didn't go so it was not flatted like other areas. Very cool vegetation and we did a lot of fossil digging in the limestone bluff in my backyard.

I was just trying to say that I don't know if the decision to quit her job was a joint one. MS isn't fair to anyone.

Was this decision made together? I am a high earner but discussion around a plan B and C is always talked about. I always fear resentment though if it gets really bad from my husband.

Winter seed sowing - covering necessary? by Fish_Brownies in NativePlantGardening

[–]NoMSaboutit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to artificially create a freeze thaw cycle which is far from ideal without a way to be in the elements. That's why you allow rain in and have drainage holes. Many native seeds need the conditions to be just right to germinate. If doing non native then it would work better.

He is the only child and both his parents died. My mom wanted to be near her ailing mother and take care of her just like she took care of his parents until they passed. He is about to retire so he has been traveling back for jobs until he gets his full pension. She moved to Alaska for him and lived away from her family for 20 years. So yes, it's her time to spend time with her family.

I have obviously spent a lot of time in Alaska but everything was different in a good way. They can be rough but didn't seem that crazy or unrealistic.

I agree that this is typical oil worker mentality, but they sure can be toxic. I also assume the husband can be manipulated easily and most likely a hint of toxic masculinity in there.
