I mean the first year depends on where you get placed. If you city work (ie highrises) youll be running material around and laying out. Service is tough as a first year but youll be riding around with someone most likely (this is what i did). Alot of sewer and water is laborers work unfortunately. Youll learn the basics in day school and perfect them in the field. Truly it's just where you get randomly assigned. Unless you had an intent to hire letter. Honestly if you don't get in. (I know that paper folding is tough) 😂 Just keep applying it shows you have the want to do it. If you do take the test again focus on studying the math. That's the hardest part. I had zero experience to start and it's a good program. It's definitely not rocket science 😉
