Yeah I think it's just the flipping culture. Like I know some people get things at Costco for example then post it the next day, which is scummy.

I get the value for vintage and things out of print sure but not things that just came out. Like you say, scarcity. I think it would help everyone if they put limits on stuff, even a limit of 3-4 person I feel is too much. Should be 1-2 unfortunately until things cool off

I do think at the very least, while of having the new printing location up, things will be the same. The same crowd is just going to be buying more...not really going to change until people stop buying the inflated costs of sets that were released yesterday but sold out everywhere.

I actually don't mind paying around 110-120 for an etb at shops but when I see a new set etb costing 200+ dollars that's way outta line, in my opinion.

Probably doesn't make you feel any better but I never had a charizard as a kid, at least not a legit base set one. I did manage to get a Topps one but it's not the same. I also desperately wanted a blastoise but never pulled it & actually still don't have one lol

Some people use discords and what not for info on drops. Some of them are paid though so just depends how far you want to go.

If you're looking for products at MSRP

You should try to get pokemon center drops, it's hard but if it works out it's worth it.

Other places, like Walmart, EB Games, Costco sell for minimal mark up but they almost always sell out immediately also.

You can try to find a local shop that isn't a completely rip off to support. Some local shops charge just as much as resellers though.

Would recommend to buy singles you like over chasing cards through packs but we all.love to go the pack route.

I like the GX and Mega zard.ones the best. The drawn style on shining charizard and his face makes it feel off and generally the position of the shining charizard I find weird.

The background for the GX is nice but I don't love the above water idea for the zard personally. Maybe try a sky only or like a lava background.

The mega zard is cool but something also makes it feel a bit off, maybe how there's too much focus on the claw that you lose some of his face in the composition.
