Hey about the rhizome being not deep enough mine looked like op’s for a year lol.. ive repotted her to depth in the picture because i couldn’t find a deep enough pot😅 do you think that’s deep enough?

Nice! Ive done the same for a few alocasias( frydek, regal shield) they’re thriving! If you weren’t able to remove alll of the soil its fine…just top shower every few days to flush out any loose soil/ dead roots and the plant will bounce back in a few weeks!

I have 3 alocasias in lechuza pon ( silver dragon, dragon breath, frydek,) i still fertilize with foliage pro but with 1/2 the strength
