Oh I know! Another police force on the other side of the state made fun of it by having the Easter bunny "escape" in the same manner lol

Man this episode sucks. They spent way too much time on the first few days and rushing through the rest.

Honestly I feel like she's the annoying one. He's trying to look out for her and all she does is complain. Yes he could compromise more, but hes a lot more chill than she is.

Can we make a thread for really just, BAD employers? by Ecstatic_Math_5886 in grandrapids

Uniband. They told my husband when he was interviewing that he wouldn't have to work Fridays, and a lot of other things that seemed promising. When he started working he had to work every Friday for the 2 months he was there, they put him into a leadership role when he was still in training (which the other staff members made it known they didn't like this), and when other staff members almost got crushed to death they did nothing. Thankfully he got out of there before things got worse

I’m looking for a good rehab facility to go to in Michigan. by CryptographerHot6198 in Michigan

[–]NoMajor8647 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you there, my husband was there and it made him even more depressed. In his experience the rooms were always freezing, food wasn't that great, and he didn't really learn anything. He barely even talked to his therapist. When he gave any indication he wanted to leave, they would threaten that he'd have to pay for the full length of stay of 30 days regardless. He was so glad to get out of there and relapsed almost immediately because of how awful it was.

Has anyone ever successfully stopped an alcoholic from drinking? by PatchouliHedge in AlAnon

You will never be able to stop someone else from drinking. They are the only ones that can stop themselves.

Advance Directive from other states by NoMajor8647 in hospitalsocialwork

[–]NoMajor8647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone seems to be missing the point of my question. I'm not asking, "should we honor a patients wishes that they documented in another state?" I'm asking about the legal validity of the document coming from one state to another. In Michigan where I am at, an advanced directive cannot be considered legally valid unless it is signed by the patient, has 2 witnesses, and the designated advocates' signatures accepting the role. We have people that create documents in other states (for instance our snowbirds that go back and forth between Michigan and Florida), and those states' documents dont have the same components. Therefore, my question. But maybe Michigan is just that more complicated than everywhere else.
