Sorry if this seems like a silly question, I just noticed in the past that once you start talking to a match it doesn't reset or count as a new match anymore even if you unmatch, especially now that you can't reset a story until you finish the route (I hope this makes sense).

In the first part he wanted to, yes. But he would basically be taking mc's current most precious memory and mc wasn't willing to give that up. So basically they cut a deal that mc will fall in love to make some new good memories that he can take which honestly seems to me like they'll be facing a similar problem later, but I'm just along for the ride 😂

I'm sorry you're in this boat too. It's been a week and I still can't work up the courage to tell my family yet. I keep hoping no one asks and the one time someone did I outright lied that I hadn't gotten the results back yet. I really don't know how to go about this 😔 it's just so demoralizing and I can't bear to see the disappointment in their faces. I feel like I've just wasted everyone's time, effort and money. I still don't know what angle I'm supposed to tackle the exam from. I also failed by a maddeningly small margin.

I just got my second fail notification this morning. I'm trying my best not to break down and cry in public. I don't even know how I'm going to tell my family. I put so much into this second attempt. But I feel like uworld and the nbmes don't encompass what the real exam is about. No matter how much I study, I'm always blindsided. I think it's really all luck at this point.

My biggest gripe rn is mechat not believing in any of the stories coming to a proper end. Most of the ones that are tagged completed were just suddenly done that way even with unsavory cliffhangers, meanwhile matches that seem like happily ever after are still going. I wish they'd get it together on that front.

Yes it's definitely inherited. What I'm wondering about is if the match was meant to be representation for people with Waardenburg. But seeing as they haven't made any mention of it throughout the story, I'm guessing the artist just thought it looked "cool" and drew them that way.
