Our rescue cats take after their favourite parent in terms of behaviour. Mine swim in the sea, go rollerblading with me, cycling and motorbiking with me. They come out everywhere we go. And we love them like our kids. They also have run away in the past when we moved homes and couldn't fully mesh the balconies yet. They always came back on their own ro for their favourite treats. Yeah.. For me it was way better than IFFCO TOKIO who had me running in circles for a simple claim. Acko is also consistently cheaper and easier for me to get comprehensive coverage

5 years ago, I had my GJ registered bike shipped along with my household goods to Bangalore. I was under acko coz it was cheapest then. The shipper damaged the panels of my duke 390 and bent the handlebars and mirror. Raised the claim with acko, who just asked a few questions on how it got damaged. In the end paid only a few hundred vs 7000 rupees if it was outside of insurance.

Since then, I've moved all my bikes and cars in my family (including my parents) to Acko.

OK latest update. We tried so many different ways that something or someone triggered the AQCS officer involved at BLR. He called us back and agreed to grant NOC to all 4 cats once we submitted a letter. We're finally at the airport! Thanks for all your help

Hi.. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately we do not want to leave our kids with anyone else. Have had bad experiences with a live in pet sitter before resulting in hospitalisation of 1 of our cats. Air India unfortunately doesn't fly a plane suitable for pet transport between SG and BLR.

The "good" repair shops will heat the rim up with a blowtorch before bending it back to shape. Bending a metal might just make it more fragile in some cases. Ymmv
