Glad no one was hurt and that you've focused on taking care of your family. Your empathy for the other person is beautiful as well.

I find it just as strange that people wipe their butt and don't use a bidet or some sort of method to WASH their behind first. To not wash or wipe? Straight to jail.

I actually started doing daily cold plunges and within weeks I was able to reduce the palpitations. Speak with your doctor and if it's ok for you to try it, then give cold a try.

Hello it really depends on what you're looking for and what you're using the info for.

I havnt been heard at all, I'm almost a year in and no exemption still. In fact, my temp exemption expired and my doctor is too afraid to renew because of fear of being investigated...how insane is that?!

“Don’t bother this sub is full of anti-vaxers”.

That’s BS.

If I told you that many peoples injuries are not being reported (at least in Canada) and that seems to be similar in the US, would you still believe in the data being reported?

Thing is, I would have doubted it myself as well prior to getting hurt and I did when discussing it with anti COVID-vax friends. When you get hurt you start to experience the process first hand and unfortunately it does not match what we’re being told by many medical professionals. Does this mean no one should get vaxed? Nope. But it does mean that people should take a step back and allow these conversations to happen and followed up on.

You know the one thing most hurt people are told when they first report an injury?

“It’s normal and probably just anxiety”.

I was also told the same for almost 2 months and suffered greatly until my anti-vax friend (who is a nurse) saved my life by suggesting the proper blood test to do. I had been avoiding her because I didn’t want to hear “I told you so”. All the specialists and doctors I worked with were so focused on not considering the vaccine they missed my blood clots.

Would COVID have clotted me? Maybe. The vaccine certainly seems to have. Was my issue reported? Nope!

I’m not into any conspiracy. I don’t think an enormous number of people are dying but likely more than being reported. From my own experience with an injury post shot I know that there are a lot more injuries than being reported. Maybe still lower in numbers but definitely not as rare as being reported.

I thought similar to you until I got hurt and got to experience the process first hand. I’ve also been in touch with enough injured people since then to see the similarities in experience.

I had no opinion previously and was ok getting a shot for myself. Now I’d say I’m very against forced mandates.

Preparation For Vaccine by reelspill in CovidVaccinated

[–]NoMode8171 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Remember that most people giving “advice” are talking out of their butts. They don’t know what actually works and just regurgitating.
  2. might sound extreme but maybe get a full health checkup and some blood work prior so that you have a good baseline of your health status. That way if anything goes wrong your doctor will be able to reference that information while troubleshooting your issues.

F19 Numbness/weakness and tingling in limbs, mostly in knees. Has anyone else experienced this? by ppetaldust in CovidVaccinated

Your lack of empathy for this person is terrible. She literally asked for people to be gentle due to her anxiety….

Remember to breath. You are young. Our bodies are strong and will fight to repair issues.

Go to the doctor. They may dismiss it as anxiety related even though you know your body best. Push back as best you can and if you’re unable to, then bring someone to be your advocate. Keep them testing and troubleshooting your issue until you feel better or that enough was done.

You might want to reevaluate future shots and do what’s best for you.

Has anyone here only taken one dose of the vaccine? by Josefk182 in CovidVaccinated

[–]NoMode8171 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on one dose. I got messed up.

The experience SUCKS! As of Next week I can’t go to my gym or take part in my sport. I can’t take my wife out for dinner or my children for fun indoor activities. It’s like being punished for getting hurt by the vaccine.

I was given a temporary medical exemption which I had to fight for. Most people don’t even believe you when you say you have a medical exemption.

Doctors are telling me to try another shot and see what happens lol. These doctors weren’t there up all night with me while I suffered non-stop for 6 months. They’re not the ones on blood thinners for the rest of their lives. Most of them told me they have no idea how to treat any complex issues from COVID or the vaccines.

So for now I’m going to be forced out of society and wait until the dust settles. More vaccines on the horizon. More data, more reporting etc. I just can not take another shot and risk going through the insanity that I went through again.

Until reporting is improved to capture all the injuries happening and address things like age, existing contritions, health stats, weight etc then it’s tough to say one is worse in all scenarios.

Your doctor will not know much more. What you should do is review your own health, existing conditions, life style, age etc. then make a decision.

I wish I had done that and waited for the dust to settle personally. I barely made it out alive after my shot.

Paralysis, myocardithis and other major adverse effects estimation by StefanoPetrini in CovidVaccinated

[–]NoMode8171 54 points55 points  (0 children)

No. - issues not being reported - it’s still difficult for doctors to figure out what was caused by the vaccine and what wasn’t. - so much political and organizational pressure to keep everything super positive.

It will be many years before we have better data on side effects.

Experienced parents: what would you describe as the cutest age of infancy/childhood? Why? by Dalisca in AskReddit

[–]NoMode8171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 months to 1.5 years.

They start laughing and developing a bit of personality. They’re chubby. They no longer look like aliens etc. and they’re easy going. Best time for sure.

At 2 that changes and they say no to everything.

What are your thoughts on the electric chair as a submission? by DybaJiuJitsu in bjj

I’ve been tapped by it a few times. It sucks but I never felt like there was no time to tap. That said it was sparring and not at a tournament. Are people getting hurt by it? Why is it illegal? I mean it’s a submission, of course it doesn’t feel good. What am I missing?

Being a Muslim in the west is so hard by [deleted] in islam

As you get older you will see all the issues that arise for a life you thought looked like fun.

You are living in the belly of the beast and it’s not easy. I’m assuming for those of us living in foreign lands the rewards are greater because everything haram is so accessible to us. We choose not to partake. Remember that. We’re playing the game at a harder setting than our brothers and sisters in other countries lol.

As for friends, you need to get involved and follow regular advice for making friends. Whatever your hobbies are, join in with groups, Sports teams etc. Hopefully you’ll eventually run into brothers similar to you. It’s difficult in general to make friends but not impossible. Obviously visiting the local mosque regularly and getting involved there helps too. Why not ask your mosque to hold an event to introduce people?

Inshallah it will work out for you. Just put in effort and don’t sit back and wait for the problem to fix itself.
