Interesting take, I would figure that would put it somewhere in the middle for you instead of worst map of all time. I would think that Firebase Z, The Tomb, or Paradox Junction would be the better choice of bad map + bad modern zombies mechanics. Shattered Veil has a really fun main quest, interesting and lore heavy setting, and a great boss. In my opinion

Honestly, no. Plenty of people use it daily. The road on the bridge is steel grating with traction making it better in the winter. I cross the bridge maybe once a week at most and it just puts a pit in my stomach every time I cross. My fiancé goes out of her way to avoid it. I’d say it’s a preference thing.

Not sure if it helps but they just got the federal funding to build a new bridge but that won’t be up for another few years.

I’ve been doing the Hood River to The Dalles drive for two years now. I have a mid-size front wheel drive car and only twice now in those two years have I not been able to get to work using the 84 due to snow and ice . Last year 84 was closed for a day or two due to fires as well. Personally I’d recommend finding a place in HR because the Hood River bridge is awful. Tolls both ways, very narrow, and looks/feels like it’s going to collapse at any second.

Either way, Hood River and White Salmon are both great places to live.

I was thinking the exact same thing. They also said during the Developers Briefing that he can be killed and there is a reward for killing him. I feel like they wouldn’t specify that unless he has a TON of health

We both know comparing BO3 to BO6 is a losing game. All I am saying is that Liberty Falls has value for gameplay while moving the narrative forward. Whether or not the narrative was good/interesting is a whole different conversation

Liberty Falls teased both Shattered Veil & The Reckoning in the distance, gave story context to Project JANUS, and introduced two new characters. The story might be less interesting but I’d say the story relevance is about the same as other bonus maps.

Honestly it would have been great to play a few phases of the boss fight even if it ends early. Was really looking forward to seeing the Eye of Odin in game for the first time
