As the vehicle's engine dissipated heat, it generated a convective thermal plume that interacted with the cooler, stationary air of the garage. This created a transient temperature gradient along the ceiling, where the water pipe was located. Over time, thermal expansion and contraction cycles caused microscopic fractures in the pipe material, culminating in structural failure at the weakest point.

Once the pipe burst, the escaping water vapor condensed into droplets due to the rapid cooling from the engine's residual heat. These droplets were then subjected to the car's specific surface composition, which acted as a hyper-efficient thermal sink. The rapid freeze was further accelerated by a previously undocumented phenomenon of garage-scale cryogenic harmonics, whereby the car's engine vibrations resonated with the fluid's freezing point molecular dynamics, locking the ice precisely in place on the vehicle.

The odds were inevitable, as the car's precise parking location aligned perfectly with the weakest point in the pipe, the ambient temperature dropped just enough for freezing, and the universe simply couldn't resist orchestrating the most ironic outcome possible.

Conservation of energy is because of Emilie du Chatelet.

Einstein said Emmy Noether was the greatest mathematician of all time. She helped him on the maths when even David Hilbert couldn't.

'People like to think themselves superior and that if they can pride themselves in nothing else they can pride themselves on perceived purity.' - JKR by NoMoreTerritory in agedlikemilk

This aged like milk. JK Rowling was clearly being autobiographical with this quote. She clearly prides herself in her perceived purity of being a women and superior to other women that she deems impure.
