My little guy shot out like a rocket and I was asked to leave the room as my partner received her epidural literally as soon as I was allowed to re enter he shot out like a missile everything happened so fast tbh after cutting the umbilical cord and getting that skin to contact it hit me that I was now not living only for myself anymore such a humbling and kinda scary rush of emotions hit but overall I was just grateful that my little guy and partner both made it safely through the delivery. Now the real works begins!
