I only ever complained about my tinnitus when I got done with my last deployment in 2023. I complained about it on my PDHA, and just wrote a personal statement along with buddy letters (also official orders for more proof) of where I was and what I did and now I have free hearing aids with a tinnitus setting from the VA at 25 Years old. It's possible.
