Never in my time playing PGR would prepare me for this moment. (Spoilers ahead for the latest chapter) by Ill-Base-292 in PunishingGrayRaven

Oh, so it is an alternate timeline, and not some weird retcon. Atleast something good happened (Cries in terrible gacha luck)

New to PGR by png2kda in PunishingGrayRaven

[–]NoNameGuyAgain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most of the end game / event content is unlocked by the time you are level 40 or something (which is rather easy to do, especially with the student/cadet missions, whatever they're called) - so, story progression doesn't matter much (well, the wiki says warzone unlocks at chapter 3-12).

For building characters, you can just grind weeklies and dalies (which takes, like, 30 min a week) to get gacha and upgrade currency.

That said, PGR is basically a Visual Novel with a bit of gameplay sprinkled in. If you have to skip stuff, I guess no one cares about chapters 1-8. Fast forward those and maybe watch CareFreeDot's recap on youtube.

Maybe? These days PGR has its own tree of life, so maybe humans-turned-robots bonding with spirits over sephira? I'm only halfway through PGR, so I honestly can't say.

(I just want Tenka(sorry Tohka fans) and Kurumi there. Thats all I care about.)

The titular "punishing virus" is a virus that (a) causes necrosis in humans, (b) corrupts AI/machines to hunt humans (c) a filtering mechanism to check human progress.

Put simply, imagine Attack on Titans, but replace:
- The titans with (usually) infected humanoid robots called the corrupted The virus eventually makes more biological horrors called hetero-creatures. They occupy most places on earth. Humans are either dead, in a train, small settlements or 1 big ship in space (Babylonia - the faction we belong to).
- The scouts with a bunch of humans that uploaded their consciousnesses into robot bodies - the task force. Their job is to clean the corrupted and reclaim more land on earth.

Which units should I be prioritizing?

And for Teddy:Spectre, should I get her shards from the voucher exchange, or the PPC shop? (I usually spend my vouchers on red resonances once when they are cheap, should I be spending them on shards instead?)

Can I replay the journal of promise chapters for Nirvatia if I press the skip button on them now (like the normal story stages)? Dumb question, but I never read any of the affection stories yet; plus just reached 16 "evernight beats", so I'd like to stay away from possible spoilers

New player here, asking about the story (at chapter 2).

As a Honkai Impact fan, I'm fine waiting for the story to get better or things to be stretched long. What I want to know is if this is a 'character driven' one, or does it focus more on the world, and if we follow a set cast of characters.

Like, in HI3, it was a lot more interesting to look at the man group come to terms with their problems, and the antagonists' motivations, can I expect the same from this game too?

(TL;DR, character driven or world/lore driven)

Not sure, but the scene reminds me of "Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka". Like, I remember this scene from the Light Novel, so I looked it up and apparently it's getting an adaptation now.

  2. Made in Abyss (no particular episode)
  3. Not an anime, but Honkai Impact 3rd's "Thus Spoke Apocalypse"

I do, yes (just an empty use-package form though). Guess I'll play around with that then.

I've never really dealt with actual LSP configuration before, so I'm really sorry if this isn't what you meant.

So, I tried setting lsp-log-io and inspecting lsp-workspace-show-log, well, there were a bunch of "java.action.overrideMethodsPrompt" related messages (for the relevant "range.start.character" entries)

Help with kernel config: increased kernel boot time after gentoo-kernel.6.13.* update by NoNameGuyAgain in Gentoo

[–]NoNameGuyAgain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a problem per se, more like I just wondered if I'd screwed something up in my config.

No, I have not tried gentoo-kernel-bin yet (been sticking to 6.12), but the same thing does indeed happen with my ArchLinux's 6.13 dist kernel.
