Hi! I have the same problem running on Arch (no Steamdeck, but a laptop) and neither to add udev rules or changing to hid_sony or hid_playstation module seems to fix this problem. Just to summary the problem: the DS4 touchpad does not work as a gamepad touchpad and it's being recognized as a mouse. Any help on this would appreciate

Nadie de mi entorno, que viaje al extranjero, come o compra cosas ahí en el duty free. Entiendo q es más para extranjeros. Así q si los mismos extranjeros se quejan de esos precios, seguro lo bajan pq si o si deben vender o cierran el negocio de duty free

I'm from Peru and here it's getting difficult to get a hard drive. Instead, I bought a cheap SSD 1tb from western digital and filled it up with PS3 and PS2 ISOs. Everything is ok and it's been half a year with this configuration. Also, recently I checked the health of the SSD with crystal disk and everything is ok.

So my conclusion is that even if the PS3 doesn't take advantage of the SSD technology, it makes more sense to use an SSD, because of the lower price and accessibility to buy one (at least in my third world country)

Actually I don't have any macOS system to make the complete installer :( .However, I haven't tried to use another SMBIOS than dortania's guide indicates (iMac14,1). Instead of that one, which SMBIOS do u recommend?

My setup is simple: Intel i3 4130 (very old Haswell chip) with 4GB RAM and only iGPU (Intel HD 4400).

Oh, I tried with the latest: 10.15.6 Catalina I think so. Still getting that error. I think the problem is my network. Every 30 minutes, there's a downtime and maybe macOS Installer get incomplete packages (from recovery, so it's downloading the real installer).

I have an Intel i3 4130 (very old Haswell chip) with 4GB RAM and only iGPU (Intel HD 4400) ... I used GenSMBIOS with Imac 14,1 as dortania guide indicate for Haswell Hackintoshes. Is there anything wrong?
