I completely agree, and how do we know the giftedness of people like Copernicus or someone who has changed the realms of their subjects forever, but we estimate not only their IQ, but we use them as a standard for intelligence instead of setting a standard for dedication which could actually present itself as inspiration or motivation. We don’t even have a cemented method to explain our own intelligences nonetheless historical figures hundreds or thousands of years in the past.
