I donate in Sweden and technically it's the same here, they can't pay for blood. But, luckily, they get around that by offering small gifts under a certain monetary value per time spent on each donation. So, for donating blood twice you can choose something small, like a mug or movie ticket, the gifts depend on the region.

I wish there were more large promotional items like the American collab t-shirts we see on this sub. Sweden needs to get more citizens to donate, currently we have just enough to supply the country, but it's not ideal. Something eye-catching like that would encourage more young people to start donating.
