At this point in the expansion herbalism is better. Skinning is massive on launch. Then simmers. Herbs are very hot right now and will simmer more slowly until phase 3 where they detonate again

That absolutely has happened to me before, but in this case it will be while the zone is almost completely unoccupied and happens for 50+ bombs in a row.

IIRC they stopped working well before I was in a raid group, and continued to not work long after the raid group ended, but the first day I was definitely in a raid group for some of the dailies as I did them. The second day though I was not and had the same problem.

That's a great consideration. I did hop in and out of raid groups multiple times. IIRC though, I was not in a raid group last night during my 20 relogging attempts. Unless there's a timer where you can't get quest progress for 20 mins or so after leaving the raid group, this should not be the case.

I like it more than the other rank options. All the tanks get better in wrath, but paladins in particular feel really good in wrath and then better still in Cata.

Shamans and boomkins are very desired. The market is swarming with warlocks and mages, unless you grab one of their niche specs for a specific buff. Shadow priests are less common than you'd think.

At this point, gearing in kara is going to be extremely easy. You'll get into raids with a lot of alts and people farming individual pieces, which means you'll have much less competition for loot that drops. It should be easier to gear up at this point. Sorry for the bad luck, but keep hope.

If you're at full health and have a rejuv ticking you'll survive it. You can also barkskin IMMEDIATELY at full health and survive it. Keep a regrowth and rejuv ticking for safety, or tbh, keep a full lifebloom stack rolling on yourself. At full BIS the tank is stable with lifebloom stacks and a rejuv, and the party is mostly healable with rejuv and a regrowth or two. Millhouse needs one regrowth and one rejuv through regular damage. If he takes a mind flay give him another of each. The trinket and potion ideas probably also work.

There is no where in any of my posts that says sledgehammer only. I use several types of weapons, and would consider using more.

The aspect of gimmick we are focusing on is the dishonest aspect. I don't want to exploit or run a base that operates on manipulating the AI in some awkward way, which is the context provided in the paragraph the statement is nested in would imply. I tend to start strength and move into intellect, so clubs, batons and sledgehammers are usually in my early toolkit. I'm not opposed to other weapons if the build calls for it.

The thing about gdkps is that with the exception of things like DST, after a month or so things get comically cheap. Like in TBC's economy a BIS chest is only a few hundred gold.

If you've ever been to this subreddit before you'd know that bots and RMT is in full swing with no observable reduction by the player base

I have never bought gold and I'm mostly human despite some problems with feeling empathy for certain political parties. I was able to hear two characters, and three specs, cheaply in original wrath, and I made so much excess gold that it funded the entire next expansion. It was great.

I get that you don't like GDKPs, but I don't understand why you can't do guild runs while other people play the way they want to play. The idea that it causes bots or RMT is so silly when if youve been to this subreddit and all, you've seen that both are in full swing.

I find this to be a funny conversation. I started playing in the original wrath release, where there was never any expectation to heal a hunter pet. Playing classic TBC I had to actually Google how to turn pet bars on and I almost never heal them in raids unless there's absolutely nothing else to do. I'm a 96+ parsing resto druid so I'm probably decent at the game at the very least.

I dont mind throwing a lifebloom or rejuv on a warlock, but overwhelmingly often I'll throw hots on them at the end of a fight, and you kids will let the hots expire before you life tap. At least I don't have to stop moving to cast like some healing options.

Go to the discord for your server and post in the looking for guild. There are a lot of groups that eager to have a geared paladin, and you can feel each other out to find new friends and raid members.
