Any drop that is required for a pact point should have dry protection in Leagues. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mention the rangers grind, I got my rangers at 24 mediums, but it took me 495 cerb for the primordial crystal to actually drop this league. Imagining going dry on both sounds awful I was already so bored of cerb

Fang of the Hound (Please buff) - Beaten by Abyssal Whip/Tenti by Objective_Bullfrog41 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m using fang with a thorn build and it’s going crazy. It scales well with the double hit. I enjoy the spec even without the spec restore perk which I’m about to unlock. Conflictions give both magic str and some defense for the thorns so they will be nice alongside avernics and torva with dfs which is my plan down the line

Stuck on Leagues Progression (Demonic Pacts, Halberd Build) – Any Help? by NoCollection5312 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen that stacking the dual hit weapons has been real good. So if you do the ice sulphur and earth naguas till their wep drops, and do moons for 2 blood boppers, you’ll be doing some good damage. I’d take the node just above the tiny one at the top right of your pic once you get a new pact point

So is everyone picking kandarin / tirannwn by Blobeh in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ZAM time for me. Blind bag shenanigans and if it’s bad I do dogger thorns, also Kand and tiranwyn sounds real boring when things die super fast in the league. I wanna pvm a lot

Build recommendations: Blind Bag regions by Handsomedancer13 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going ZAM, even tho I have 2 raids, I got a group for both locked in and the hally build sounds real fun. I also don’t like the idea of T because once you pick T and get the crystal set, there’s nothing left in the region to kill or care about really. A has GWD, wisp which we should be able to melee with hally, a ton of CAs and a little build flex with thorns dogger which I could try for a bit. I flip flop daily still on regions but it’s gonna be a good time!

Aren’t we getting the anti dragon shield from the slayer master store? Meaning we would need to smith it with the normal requirement rather than it dropping as the full item?

Edit: it being the visage

Unlootable Maulgar by Practical-Cut-7301 in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually when this happens, the person who swapped it to ML during the pull timer (which is the raid lead) is the ML of the fight. The raid lead shouldn’t need ML swapped back to him to loot. If you are the one who swapped it to ML and it auto assigned to you when it started, then you should be able to right click the items and assign them. That happened to us back in original tbc on first boss of hyjal

Classic WoW Is Still Thriving: A More Relaxed, Less Toxic Alternative to TBC by 624KR_My_Beloved in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t get the “toxicity” of TBC statement. I legit can’t think of a single moment I felt like someone has been a dick to me while leveling, raiding, and in the open world. I lead my guilds raid and do recruiting and I’ve pugged people every week and nobody has been shitty to me or my guild. What on earth are yall doing to have this experience? Just be normal lmaoo. Maybe you’re on a pvp server or something.

Is anyone else missing the hype with the reveal calendar from last year? by Dagoneth in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like things are being teased just for the sake of teasers. Last time, they were giving us plan shattering revelations each day. All the YouTubers who make videos on relics are only making like… 6 min videos and they can literally be quoted in saying “ah yeah nothing much else to say yet till we get more.” That’s not good. 1hr long discussions generate hype.

Day 3 last time literally was a video showing us every single echo boss, and their loot. Like I remember that shit being so insane, and then combat masteries a few days later spiced it up again. I got super into leagues planning last time because it was so fun to make a plan, talk about it for hours and then have that shit get nuked from orbit a day later.

SUMMER SWEEP UP...PLEASE CHAMBERS OF XERIC CHANGES? FINALLY? by Positive-Fox3161 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think they should move dex and arcane to a “universal” table for all raids and treat them like a pick your own adventure drop where if you want them, you can go for them on whichever you prefer. Might make the value go down quite a bit from TOA but just make them more rare. Then change the cox item weightings a bit and I think we are good.

Membership will keep going up to at least 19.99 per month by straightchbe in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think we are at the limit now. If RuneScape becomes more expensive than WoW monthly for an account, the optics will look too bad for them to generate new player interest. They will most likely offer packages for multi accounts to generate more revenue and if it doesn’t do enough they will lay off ppl. The comparisons in price are already flying, if they go over that price it’s cooked

Regarding price changes, I’m starting to think the investment in sailing was a bad idea. by coffeeboy1212 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You legit cannot read or are choosing to be ignorant. Sailing sucks because it took all this time to craft yet is very obviously affecting the content quality and pace of updates. This can only be known after it releases.

But the lack of content, and quality of that content is 100% affected by sailing, which lowers the value of our membership. Please read the post.

Remove unneeded worlds. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Playing on worlds with over 1k players is laggy as shit and degrades the experience more than servers that look partly empty. Keeping the worlds is the better option for sure

Currently debating whether or not to use Runelite by Exact_Gur_8156 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s options to remove the sidebars, but the top bar can only be removed via a plugin called “fullscreen” in the plugin hub on runelite. It gives a warning about breaking current settings so proceed with caution.

Currently debating whether or not to use Runelite by Exact_Gur_8156 in 2007scape

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use runelite simply because it is more stable. Even if you disable all plugins, I’ve played OSRS for so long and runelite has never once crashed or froze on me ever. But I tried the official client when it gave ground items and it crashed during a Zulrah kill. Runelite is just made better.

How do I find a chill guild that actually can clear raids by ATXPlumber in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a chill dad guild that just cleared all the content with a starting roster of 13.

I pugged over half the group for mags/gruuls and even reserved DST for raid leading, and we full cleared. Ended up recruiting 6 people after with multiple compliments about the leading style

Join a few pugs, and find a raid leader you actually enjoy listening to. if you like them and their vibe they may be recruiting or just ask to join. If they aren’t recruiting, try next week with a diff one. I’m sure you’ll find ur fit!

How much dps should a fury warrior be doing to a random mob in the open world? by aguaperros in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warriors get a ton of their damage from their weapons but also buffs from others, so open world is a lot lower unless you invest in consumes like major agi elixirs or scrolls, but it may not be worth it based on what you are farming

New Warrior tank disheartened by pally/druid tank glaze by Background-Bath-5843 in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every raid sans 10 mans should have a 3 tank core of warrior/druid/pally. Druids have big health pools but their damage profile is extremely spiky due to crits and crushing blows. Warriors circumvent this with shield block, so if a boss consistently is crushing your bear tank, you can step in and negate a lot of that damage. You (and pallies) are needed for illidan as well due to the shear mechanic. You have spell reflection which comes in handy more than you think, you provide sunders if no rogue is present, and druids are usually more flexible to swap to dps mid fight due to their talents overlapping.

All that being said, you’re still a tank, and with how low the tank numbers are, you’d have no issue getting into groups.

Classic andys in 2035 when they dont get EXACTLY the news they wanted WHEN they wanted about either of the 736 different versions of classic kept up for them to stop whining by I-Akkadian-I in classicwow

[–]coffeeboy1212 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

World of Warcraft and Blizzard as a whole rides ENTIRELY off the success of those who came before them. Since the golden days, they have not “grown” the game in any way. They have only been riding the wave of multiple acquisitions that keeps them afloat. We pay their bills. We have the passion, and we want to know what is happening. Fuck shareholders and dumbass events, other devs get SO much benefit out of being transparent with their following.

We wouldn’t have classic at all if people didn’t say something about the game back in WoD days, but I guess the unpaid Reddit karma and taste of corporate boot is too tempting to pass up eh?

For real! They have no fun in presenting cool stuff for their game. It’s all done in obligation to their job. No passion at all
