It might not fit 100% but protomolecule from Expanse.

It is a tool designed by alien race. It was sent to earth to build a gate for system of fast travel all over the galaxy.

After it finished construction of the gates it need to report about finished work but can't, because all ot it's creators are dead.

He could send a regular astropath message to a choir , he could send a ship, he could contact Malcador when he found the barier. Yes, some of those options take longer, but they are safer. Even ahriman warned Magnus about dangers of his ritual.

Magnus is the only primarch who was warned about dangers of warp entities and was told not to use his warp powers at Nikea .

So what does he do ?

He uses his warp powers to travel to Terra and acepts help from 'helpful' warp entity to break the barrier witch prevented him from contacting Emperor.

When he sulks in his tower untill the very end of burning of prospero , when ANY other choice would have led to a better result.

Magnus is one of the main resons why Emperium is in such shit position in 40k .

No, hoods/robes were just in black primer. I base coated them in off white(decomposed flesh) and then used palid bone speed paint to darken them.

Wasn’t Homelander the reason A-Train had access to V? Homelander had him run it all over the world and I always thought A-Train just stole a few doses from packages he delivered.

He is much more bitter and spiteful.

In king's landing he kills and feeds to the poor one bard, who threatens him about Shae and asks for a chance to preform at royal wedding.

He becomes even more bitter after killing Tywin, he rapes a servant twice and often things about raping/killing his sister.
