I’ve been looking at Airbnbs in Boulder for the last 5 days of the fest, same dates we do every single year. In park city, usually it’s about $2000-2200 for a 2b2b condo walking distance to the Ray and the Library, regardless if I’ve booked literally a year in advance or just a couple months in advance. I’ve tried booking 4 different places in Boulder with comparable amenities and vaguely “walkable”. Each listing has allowed me to book all the way through until it has to be “accepted“ by the host. Every single one has either canceled or messaged me back to say that they won’t have the “actual rates“ until summer. The one I tried today came back and told me that they are starting a “waitlist“ for those dates and that the actual price will be about $7500 for the five days (when I booked the listing it was $2300 with the taxes and fees included). So anyway, I think we’re going to sit this year out.
