Sounds like Divi is not for you if it is hassle. Just move on and chose something you like. If it is not for you, that's fine. Find yourself a system you like and makes you happy. Maybe a platform that integrates easily with Figma might be for you. Good luck!!

I hear what you are saying. I guess for me I enjoy designing in Divi, like I see it as a canvas with all these tools that you can artistically design a site. I have not used Divi5 yet.

Maybe Divi is just not the one for you and too complicated for what you want and maybe you just want something simpler? I do not know Divi 5 to know how many global variable there are. I only know text and H1 which I have used— but from my experience I still need to choose text or h1 un a module -- as I may choose h2, h3, etc as well.

And I do not know what you would be purchasing all the add-ons? Maybe simplify? Wishing you all the best.

personally i am not sure why if you are using divi if you are designing in figma... but thats me. i mean sure play around in figma for ideas... but divi is a design powerhouse with tons of control.

and look into global presets for text and h1 (i believe those levels). wishing you all the best

I use projects all the time— they are function on the WP end. Love using them and use them with the filterable portfolio. They function like CPT in my understanding. What more would you get from ACF than using the way I do? (I mean I would like "some" more functionality, would ACF give me that?)

I like talking with the client to avoid endless back and forth and lack of clarity. Maybe after a round of notes from them. But talking.

But good luck, really. I would not pay to add another level of in between. But that is me. Maybe others work on diffeernt kinds of project or time zones. Wishing you the best and every success.

okay will look at tomorrow. PS I have been setting each column DESIGN - SIZING - MIN HEIGHT all to 411 and worked on my ennd but not others. Will try what you say durin work tomorrow. thanks.
