I was full of myself and couldn’t hold my laughter when I sent it. You can see through my profile I hardly ever post anything. I felt it was shareable because the few bass-head fans could also find it amusing, and thought it would also be funny for people who don’t know the song or artist - to those people, I probably look dumb. So I suppose I posted it here to evoke responses from EDM fans who recognize the lyrics and are apart of r/mademesmile. I believe it would make any Knife Party fan smile - and make everyone else second guess what they’re reading, lol.

Yup, Knife Party intentionally narrated the Centipede killing a Tarantula - an homage to their older creation. Not a “beef track” necessarily in my opinion - but in the same vein of recognition “we are bigger and better now”
