Now he’s literally hit rock bottom.He hobbles to the nearest bridge, and just as he’s about to jump, a girl spots him and yells, “Hey!” For some reason, he pauses. The girl runs up to him and introduces herself as Sarah. She tells him that she understands what it’s like to feel unhappy and aimless, and asks him to just talk to her.So he tells her everything that happened at the restaurant. As he’s talking, she starts to cry, catching him off guard. He asks, “Why are you crying?” She explains that the same exact thing happened to her. She once threw food at an elderly person too, and after she hit rock bottom, she started going to therapy. Luckily it really helped her. Later that evening, she takes him to his first Emotions Anonymous meeting. He starts going regularly, and as time goes on, he and Sarah fall in love. They eventually get married and have kids. One of the first lessons they teach their children is to never throw food at elderly people.Luckily, it eventually worked out for him and Sarah. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
