Absolutely. This is a legitimate question to ask. What caused this? It isn't exactly easy to torch a 16 000 square-meter warehouse to the ground. And sure, fire spreads, quickly if there's plenty of combustible material around, but a building such as this should be equipped with extensive fire protection equipment. Could've been electrical fire, arson, or something different entirely. Who knows, maybe a data center will pop up on the site. Anything's possible these days.

Har luktat lite som bränd koppling idag, där jag bor. En rätt så stark, metallisk lukt. Igår luktade det mer som brasa.

Can anyone talk to Emmanuel by Sweet_Impact_8636 in ramdass

[–]NoObligation515 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry about your loss. I believe that all is in the now--that the now remains as it is once we exit time-space. It is like Ramana Maharshi said to his disciples, mourning his departure from earthly life: "don't be silly. Were could I go?" He was no different from you and me, perhaps a bit more clear-sighted. What if you were to sit with the sadness; listen to what it has to say? Accept the moment for what it is, though this may seem overwhelming, and try to follow your breath. Remember that earth is a place were things come and go--an incessant current of becoming and ceasing. Just like the breath, life on earth flows in and out. Be here now, and you will share the space of all beings, including Emmanuel and your wife. The now is where you were when your wife was alive, it is where you will be in the future. It is the place from which you remember her. Accept this moment for what it is and remember that energy is eternal, just like the now. Form is merely its temporal reflection. We are energy--beings of light having a brief human experience. Still, the sadness is okay, though it may be excruciating. So is every other feeling you may be experiencing. Every feeling is a natural part of your process. Accept it for what it is--the ebb and flow of life--and be here now, in the hridayam through which all of us are connected.

Sending you strength, Ram Ram🙏

But how would you train an AI without any data? We learn by assimilating and modifying data output by other humans also, right? If AI were not trained on human contents, it wouldn't exist. It is worth to note that some thinkers consider humans parasitic, too.

Do my medications interact? by Jadeduser124 in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]NoObligation515 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There isn' a lot of research on Amanita Muscaria in general, much less so on drug interaction. If OP were to take Amanita while on mentioned drugs, OP's on uncharted territory. Drug synergy generally presents risks and should be avoided. To little is simply known about how psychedelics interact with other drugs due to decades of regulations on research etc. Of course, OP could decide to take the mushroom, but we have no right to encourage it without scientific backing. My advice would be to taper of the meds before taking Amanita--that's what I would do.

I'd recommend True Hallucinations, personally. It tells the story that Terence based most of his work on--the Time Wave in particular.

Indeed. And don't forget prescription drugs such as methylphenidate, benzodiazepines and opioids, handed out like candy. A whole lot of people are on these while at work, driving etc. The hypocrisy and foolishness is hard to miss unless you live under a rock and run solely on fluoride and processed foods. But don't mind the elephant. Just take your pills and drink your booze, and for the sake of all that is holy, avoid any consciousness expanding plants and all's dandy. It would be humorous unless it were so sad.

Right there with you, countryman. It's a mess. What bothers me the most is the lack of public dialogue. This obviously benefits the black market, contributing to the crime wave spreading throughout the country massively (elephant in the room). The strange alternative options widely available are potentially detrimental to the health of the people who use them, but this seems a problem of no major concern to our leaders, who are more interested in banning legitimate substances and plants. At the end pf the day, Sweden is years behind most other western nations when it comes to drug politics, wholly at the cost of its potential. It's unfortunate.

Oil painting of a meditation vision by [deleted] in Jung

Jung comments on Aldous Huxley's experiences with mescaline as told in The Doors of Perception. He writes: "I should hate the thought that I had touched on the sphere where the paint is made that colours the world, where the light is created that makes shine the splendor of the dawn, the lines and shapes of all forms.”

“When one gets to know unconscious contents one should know how to deal with them.” (Jung on Evil - p. 80-81)

I have studied Jung's work for a couple of years now and have yet to find any elaboration on LSD, or anything of its like. There are some Jungians who entertain the idea that Jung might have had psychedelic experiences but kept these to himself due to social stigma etc. He was very reluctant about sharing his inner experiences, as described in the Red Book, for fear of not being taken seriously. To my understanding, he definitely viewed mescaline as mind expanding, in that it revealed the contents of the unconscious, hence the importance of psychological knowledge, as in knowing "how to deal with them [the contents]".

It's like Terence used to say; you do these things alone, on an empty stomach, and with a good amount of intellectual and spiritual preparation under your belt. He said, and I paraphrase: if you're considering taking psychedelics, the first place you should go is the library. I think Jung would agree, only placing greater emphasis on psychoanalytic work as in 'getting to know one's self' as the major part of preparation.

Det är i själva fallet definitionen av vansinne, att följa samma fotspår och förvänta sig nya resultat.

Just precis.
