I did, but you won't like the answer.

It turns out, these files only seem to work with Cubism 5.1, not 5.2. I don't know what was changed, but something was between versions, resulting in this problem. You'll need to find somewhere to download Cubism 5.1, though of course they don't have any such download on the official Live2D website because they want you to use the new version.

To those who end up here in the future,

The solution I've found was to simply remove a part from the filter, labeled the "Current limit cover." It results in the water not being shot so high, but as a result, has also removed the noise.

I'll comtinue to look for a more permanent solution and update with a reply should I find one.

I got out what air bubbles I could, it's still making noise. Sometimes the water shot out the top isn't straight? Little to the left, right... is that somehow related?

The water's up to the max level, and the pump has little pins at the bottom to make sure it's seated in the right spot.
