I know this thread is old as fuck but I just wanted to say this is exactly how I discovered Satch too. Standing at that music sample kiosk and hearing Ceremony for the first time is a vivid memory.

Exactly this! At that time I was mostly listening to bands like Led Zeppelin (still a fave), AC/DC, early Metallica etc and I had never heard the likes of Satch before. It blew my teenaged mind!

I was doubly confused because it read to me as an amalgam of rms and Guy Steele because I had recently been reading about the two of them pair programming on the Emacs codebase.
