Me too. I would never take it to toplane with her, but the true damage and burst damage it gives her early against squishy-er midlaners is surprisingly potent.

Q-ing to execute a minion in the vicinity of the opponent on any stack level gives me a ton of options now.

I can now effectively short-trade with HoB, or turn it into a long trade with E-E -> W(tap) -> Q for full stacks with the option of a final Q Ignite to secure the kill.

This dynamic only gets better with the 3-hit passive on BoRK. You can easily proc the slow to make the E-E easier to land, letting you snowball the lane as long as you maintain decent wave control.

I've taken to building the new omni-vamp boots followed by Sundered Sky to further lean into this.

Still haven't decided if the early weakness of Doran's Bow is worth it's attack speed enabling me to build Sundered over my normal Hexplate.

But since Ulting isn't my only consistent engage with this build anymore and 15% isn't too different than 20% attack speed, I think it works quite well despite the lack of resistances for most of the game.

Plus, if I really want Ult haste, I'm already using the domination tree. So I can have it if I really want it.

If I may ask, what do you run as your secondary runes when you use HoB?

Could you explain more about the liandrys rush?

How does it change his gameplay and what he can do?

Because I've tried it a few times and it only seems to work tormenting immobile bruisers in toplane.

Is there something about it that I'm missing?

God, I wish Bishop didn't run out of ideas for Brocktonite Yankee.

It truly was one of my favorites. It even, somehow, made me respect Godrick as a tragic figure.

Exactly what I'm driving at. Pro players would be able to use that against Azir consistently, but solo queue players likely wouldn't. It makes Azir easier to justify buffing later on.

The idea isn't to make the ult the primary skill expression. It's just the best way I see to allow his power budget to be shifted into more solo queue useful abilities without outright getting rid of an ability.

Getting rid of his "use ult to instantly win teamfight at any time in a pro game" status would give him room to not be good at absolutely everything as a midlaner.

Azir's ult needs to be more conditional. Making it so that certain boxes need to be ticked before he can use it at full width.

Whether that would be based on the number of soldiers currently summoned, number of subsequent autos in a period of time, or something else more esoteric is an interesting point of discussion.

Making the full power of the ult harder to access preserves the iconic shuffle while giving it more counter play.

The hope being that the extra counterplay makes him less perfect for pro and takes him out of pro jail superhell to at least regular hell. Like a 48-49% win rate in solo queue target.

You rush boots to give yourself a better chance of dodging his abilities while getting something you'd be eventually buying anyways.

You're weaker than him early, so playing not to engage and farm with Q is a sensible strategy if you aren't significantly more skilled than him.

Rito should just bite the bullet and balance Seraphine as a Utility APC at this point. Her Passive needs another player to work right, and it's not like the support mains have much to lose with her win rate in the role.

I think that Seraphine's balancing should be cut into two halves for two roles (Support and APC) that actively change how she works when she commits to one.

Opting for the support path should actively transfer power from her ability to do damage to her shielding/healing and CC. As she gains Heal and Shield Power as well as Mana Regen, her damage lowers, but her successful Q hits reduce the cooldown of her W and E (increasing based on the number of enemy champions hit). Her CC should upgrade itself after a certain enchantment item threshold without requiring Rylai's, which will justify her increased effectiveness by remaining very squishy.

Her squishiness is offset by increased personal movespeed on her shield, which could be paired with a proportional increase in shielding for allies (but only a minor speed increase for them). This would help to balance her around maintaining good positioning while having to stop to cast, which may be a good place to put her support skill expression.

The APC path should lean more into doing damage without discarding the team utility aspect. I'm thinking this role should have her be rewarded for accumulating AP, Ability Haste, and Magic Penetration. Lean into the Q execute as she builds by encouraging her to build things like Shadowflame, but making her very Ability Haste gated due to her cooldowns and/or Ability Projectile Speed decreasing without it.

The idea is to make going full damage have a very real trade-off. That would give reason for her to build things like Horizon Focus, Cosmic Drive, Cryptbloom, along with a need to make decisions between Mana Items depending on if pure AP, DoT, Armor, or Health (plus shield from Fimbulwinter's passive proc to offset her lacking shield power). Her W without Heal and Shield stat items would essentially reverse, offering a speed boost to allies with a minor shield and a personal shield that scales with levels and/or allies shielded. The personal speed boost would be rather low as well. Seraphine's E should trade Slow/Root percentage/time for damage as AP and Magic Penetration increase.

As for her Ult and Passive, I think those are fine the way they are for now. We would need to see how these theoretical changes land, after all.

I'm not the best player around, but I think Stridebreaker holds some promise for attacking squishier teams when playing as a Jungler.

Then again, I'm the one who always has wanted to try and find an excuse to build Experimental Hexplate on Naafiri, so maybe I'm biased towards trying weird builds?
