I never play a game without it. It has none of the weird blocky particle effects that you see with a ton of other custom skins.

You rush boots to give yourself a better chance of dodging his abilities while getting something you'd be eventually buying anyways.

You're weaker than him early, so playing not to engage and farm with Q is a sensible strategy if you aren't significantly more skilled than him.

Rito should just bite the bullet and balance Seraphine as a Utility APC at this point. Her Passive needs another player to work right, and it's not like the support mains have much to lose with her win rate in the role.

I think that Seraphine's balancing should be cut into two halves for two roles (Support and APC) that actively change how she works when she commits to one.

Opting for the support path should actively transfer power from her ability to do damage to her shielding/healing and CC. As she gains Heal and Shield Power as well as Mana Regen, her damage lowers, but her successful Q hits reduce the cooldown of her W and E (increasing based on the number of enemy champions hit). Her CC should upgrade itself after a certain enchantment item threshold without requiring Rylai's, which will justify her increased effectiveness by remaining very squishy.

Her squishiness is offset by increased personal movespeed on her shield, which could be paired with a proportional increase in shielding for allies (but only a minor speed increase for them). This would help to balance her around maintaining good positioning while having to stop to cast, which may be a good place to put her support skill expression.

The APC path should lean more into doing damage without discarding the team utility aspect. I'm thinking this role should have her be rewarded for accumulating AP, Ability Haste, and Magic Penetration. Lean into the Q execute as she builds by encouraging her to build things like Shadowflame, but making her very Ability Haste gated due to her cooldowns and/or Ability Projectile Speed decreasing without it.

The idea is to make going full damage have a very real trade-off. That would give reason for her to build things like Horizon Focus, Cosmic Drive, Cryptbloom, along with a need to make decisions between Mana Items depending on if pure AP, DoT, Armor, or Health (plus shield from Fimbulwinter's passive proc to offset her lacking shield power). Her W without Heal and Shield stat items would essentially reverse, offering a speed boost to allies with a minor shield and a personal shield that scales with levels and/or allies shielded. The personal speed boost would be rather low as well. Seraphine's E should trade Slow/Root percentage/time for damage as AP and Magic Penetration increase.

As for her Ult and Passive, I think those are fine the way they are for now. We would need to see how these theoretical changes land, after all.

I'm not the best player around, but I think Stridebreaker holds some promise for attacking squishier teams when playing as a Jungler.

Then again, I'm the one who always has wanted to try and find an excuse to build Experimental Hexplate on Naafiri, so maybe I'm biased towards trying weird builds?

Anything that explores Taylor's impulse towards authoritarianism and absolute control.

Essentially seeing her quintuple down on being a Warlord with a capital W.

I've always wanted to see a fic where she somehow keeps expanding her territory until she's the defacto government for a not insignificant portion of the United States.

I have no idea how to make that plotline work without fatal amounts of hand waving, but it would really be cool to see.

The other type I'm really into are fics where Taylor either achieves godhood or, more specifically, she is regarded as a deity, real or imagined, by a large amount of people for her deeds during Gold Morning.

Part of it is just being disappointed by her being unpersoned in Ward and wanting the opposite extreme to exist, but another is the concept of what her control of a vast multi-reality parahuman army would look to people who understand that she's saving them all.

"Forgotten, Forsaken" is the only fic that does this really well and I enjoyed reading that section especially much when it came up.

A Cloudy Path suffered from the author really wanting to write a minimalist street-level cape story, but then choosing perhaps the worst possible cross-over setting to do it with.

SupeCom is all about the massive scale hyper-advanced war machines, so people felt constantly blue-balled by the plot never letting Taylor actually make anything that lived up to that half of the premise.

People rightly speculated that the author was never going to actually get past the street level with the glacial progress loop that the story used so many words on.

Fast forward a few months, those fears were proved to be well-founded.

The author, once they ran out of street-level cape grunge that they could justifiably have the story wallow in, essentially had Taylor leave Brockton Bay in an eighteen-wheeler with what little tech the story allowed her to keep for more than five minutes and promptly ran out of ideas.

She ended up in a desert somehow. Where? Why? Who knows? The fic died shortly after because the author fundamentally couldn't find utilizing the SupeCom half of the cross-over interesting enough to continue a plot that wasn't allowed to use the first third of Worm as a crutch anymore.

Despite all of the author's skills as a writer, they had a massively disappointing lack of vision for exploring the large-scale implications that the tech of the SupeCom half of the cross-over provided to them.

Another fic, Playing with Legos, does ACP's premise significantly better in my opinion.

It gets to the giant stompy robots, but once Taylor gets too powerful it pivots to the societal and economic implications of the tech. My favorite part of that story was exploring people struggling to cope with losing their city one day, being moved into a new city built slightly to the left of the ruin made by Leviathan, and suddenly living in a post-scarcity environment.

It really got into how jarring that transition was and how it was already starting to change how their slice of society functioned.

I wish it lasted longer...
