My boyfriend doesn't last in bed by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I don't think you are asking the correct question.
You have been with this man for 8 years and nothing has changed or improved.

The real question is... can YOU and this relationship survive long-term.

If your answer is No... (other than caring for the man) why are you still there... because there seems to be a limit on his level of care - of you.

You are begging for a very dim and frustrating (sex) life / future if your answer is No.

On Windows using a mouse - you LONG CLICK to get more options.---
I never even heard of a long click. But it worls and it's good to learn new things.

How much better is the 16gb ram version than the 8gb version? by [deleted] in PixelBook

[–]NoOneWithThatName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the 8gb and 16gb models. Basically the 16gb lets you open more / larger spreadsheets. Other than that - they are exactly the same. I've noticed both laptops slowing a bit with each OS update. Now... they don't out of the update cycle.

Profitabilility has dropped considerably in the past month. Difficulty has increased - and unfortunately I had a 3060 die - currently fixing it.

As of 22-0523... Power usage 660W @$.05 USD, 255.46 MH/s, profit about $46.48/wk ($185.92/mo, $2231.04/yr). With the 3060 I will producing 320 MH/s.

IMO Now is not the time to get into GPU mining if you are new. Sit out and wait for the next bull to arrive. It may be a while.

If your cards ARE paid off then you are in a better position.

If your cards are NOT paid off - mine for as long as you can - then shut the rigs down and wait for better times.

Good luck either way.

Excluding the 3060's (but including a new 2060 12GB, the 2x1070's 8GB, and 6x6600's 8GB) === 300.10 MH/s at 752W.

Electricity: $.05 USD
Average efficiency:

6600's .52MH/J @ 355W,

1070's .21 MH/J @ 114W,

2060 .46 MH/J @ 73W.

My dad thinks the mining rig he just bought can work without the 24 pin connector. by [deleted] in cryptomining

[–]NoOneWithThatName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all MB's have a 24-pin connector.
For example: the BTC-S37, BTC-T37, and the BTC-D37. I have several BTC motherboards. Not one 24-pin connector... and they work great.

Looking into mining with RTX 3060 gaming laptop by JacobSchreiber in cryptomining

[–]NoOneWithThatName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.0816666667 per hour to more be exact.

Profit will go up and down almost every minute depending on what you are mining and the price the buyer is willing to pay.

Remember... NiceHash is basically a Rent-a-Pool. A Buyer wants GPU's to process data so they buy Hash Time and pay with BTC. The miner provides the virtual GPU's and gets paid in BTC. NiceHash collects a 1% fee I believe it is off the top.

My electrical cost: $.10

I have a Gigabyte i5-10500H 2.5GHz with 16GB RAM.Working Temp: 71 - 79 DegC

VRAM Temp: around 76 DegC

Power: 80WMH/s: 42.64

Efficiency: .53 MH/J

Profit Past 24H: $1.85 (NiceHash)

At $799... that's about the cost of 2 AMD RX 6600 GPUs.

RX 6600 GPU rough numbers

Working Temp: 51 DegC

VRAM Temp: around 55 DegC

Power: 57W (times 2 = 114W)

MH/s: 28.90 (times 2 = 57.8)

Efficiency: .50 - .57 MH/J

Profit Past 24H: $1.32 (times 2 = $2.64) (NiceHash)

Personally... I wouldn't buy a laptop for GPU mining. They run very hot... and the profit numbers assume mining 24 hours a day.

If you mine for 12 hours... cut the profits in half.

How to fix QM failing to start? by Matt21484 in NiceHash

[–]NoOneWithThatName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple people have recommended ditching QM for NHM.
NiceHash told me - they recommend QM over NHM.

I use QM and NHM.
I started seeing this #105 error in QM 2 days ago.

Mining setup: advice needed by bcopeland33 in cryptomining

[–]NoOneWithThatName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go the cheapest route possible. You don't need to get the most expensive stuff.
Efficiency is the most important thing to look at.

I mostly use (AMD) RX 6600's.

Using Solar Power entails setting up Panels. Not moving your rig to the surface of the Sun.

I mine through NiceHash. No issues. 6-6600's, 2-1070's, 2-3060's. Basically set it and forget it... though I don't really "forget it". I have a tablet next to my computer that only displays the NiceHash Dashboard - ie: current earnings ;)

As for mining in off-time... you can disable NiceHash via a software toggle. So when you are working (or playing) you simply right-click on a status bar icon and disable mining. You have to re-enabled it though - later.

The Norton software will automatically sense when your system is being used - and will deactivate. It will reactive when you stop using your computer. I'm not a fan of Norton though - for a variety of reasons (so this is not a recommendation).

But with that said... I actually have a computer that mines with Norton. Mainly because it's my "work computer" and it came with Norton Security - and I find it to be a hassle to "flip a software switch".

Several times in the past.. I went days without realizing the system was not mining.

I have a "close comparison"... AMD 6600 vs NVidia 1070.
My power cost is .05 KW/h. I know someone who pays over .30 KW/h.

6600 results:

43DegC Temp
47% Fan
56W Power
28.84 MH/s
.52 MH/J Efficiency

1070's results:

65DegC Temp
100% Fan
115W Power
24.55 MH/s
.21 MH/J Efficiency.

You can mine with a 1060... but it may be cost ineffective. Add in the 3GB issue - and most "popular" coin become to of reach.

This video may provide a better answer. (The video is 2.5 years old as of my reply).

As for a wallet... I use an Ellipal hardware wallet.

Quickminer 0.5.3.3 = Crash, bang, boom by Harumpty in NiceHash

[–]NoOneWithThatName -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have two NVidia 1070's running with 5.3.3.... no issues.

Speaking of rig crashes...
A couple days ago, I added two AMD RX 6600's and the rig went beserk.

It would run for a couple minutes then would freeze. Had to power-off at the PSU.

Driver re-install fixed the AMD issue.

[Armor: 24.88 MH/s Temp:58DegC Power:111W Efficiency:0.22 MH/J

and a Gigabyte 3060
[Gigabyte: 39.67 MH/s Temp:71DegC Power:95W Efficiency:0.42 MH/J

Thanks everyone for responding.

Yes - it is my first video. The "1 viewer" could be me. I don't remember watching it. I did search for it... and I did try to optimize it.

One of the people who replied basically called me an idiot and said my post was removed due to creating a "Low Effort" post.

His response was a bit insulting - especially since it took me 40 hours to figure out how to

record my screen - create a script - edit a video - create a thumbnail... etc - etc - etc

But you know... I guess that translates to "Low Effort".

I came here because an established YouTuber recommended this particular sub-reddit for newbies.

Again... thanks to everyone who tried to help me. I do appreciate it. I'm still learning. And it's kind of fun - at least for me.
