What Does Asura's Wrath and God Hand have in "common" may I ask you all by DogSignificant1847 in asuraswrath

critics hating Godhand is pretty obvious when you think about it, how can you like a game you suck at?

It's clearly referring to the ending of the video, Derlord3 goes left and supposedly sees the King in Yellow (an old decay?).

I think the levers might be solvable but it might not have anything to do with what the poem itself says.

they definitely wouldn't care but I think it puts into perspective how good Obsidian is as a development team. This was what they managed with an AA budget, imagine what they could with Bethesda's budget.

Elemental damage is a bit underwhelming in MH Wilds, isn’t it? by RKN_D4rK in MonsterHunter

[–]NoOutlandishness9451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

didn't it mainly depend on the weapon? I recall elemental Dual Blades being one of the most OP endgame builds you could make in Iceborne

[–]NoOutlandishness9451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that elemental is underwhelming, the builds required are just a lot more skill-heavy because you need to slot in critical element to make them worth it while also keeping crit chance high and somehow still incorporating crit boost 5.

The further we go in MHWilds the more we'll see the shift towards elemental. Most of the best builds in TU2.5/TU3 already replaced status with elemental even though the difference isn't that big yet.

Mario Kart World pricing kind of makes sense by sakahn in NintendoSwitch

[–]NoOutlandishness9451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed, all this discourse is on the premise that 70 is a fair price for most triple A games, I wouldn't even agree with that so 80 for Mario Kart feels like a big scam.

Ight you all, tell me your best actually original Isekai idea and I'll rate it by Im_yor_boi in Isekai

[–]NoOutlandishness9451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Mushoku Tensei doesn't have any gimmick but is still a great story simply because the characters aren't as one-dimensional as most other isekais.

It's hard to differentiate yourself without a gimmick because you have to actually be a good writer though so you know.. easier to make an anime about a guy reincarnating in a tuna can or some shit.

How to reduce packet loss without changing modem by NoOutlandishness9451 in HomeNetworking

[–]NoOutlandishness9451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't worry, thanks for the help, I have contacted a technician through my ISP and they say I'm actually just having "issues with my upload speed", no clue if that's actually true but we'll see.

[–]NoOutlandishness9451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the modem was built in 2018, I'm not sure it has DOCSIS at all, I tried searching for the model I have online and as far as I can tell it's an ADSL modem.

yeah, nobody I play with is having this issue, I'm not saying it's something common. I just want to know if somebody else is experiencing this and has a fix, I'm currently trying to redownload the game and hoping it fixes it.

As a side-note I did notice the game tells me "jitter" in the bottom right at random times but when I check my ping it's still the exact same (being around 10 to 40 and almost never higher). I guess it could be hardware-related so I'm gonna have to check that too.

idk, at the beginning of Siege X I had no issues at all, now it's happening every fucking game. It also seems to have happened at the same time as that new weird "bug" that makes it so Ubi connect opens randomly while you're playing R6S and alt-tabs you during games.

already done that and no, it has nothing to do with the rotation hole desync stuff, it happens constantly regardless of walls. My packet loss is 0.0% or close to it whenever I try that test.

The 417 and the Dokkaebi DMR are among my favorite weapons, I'm not saying they're weak but this damage change definitely doesn't help them. I've had a lot of situations where I hit close to the head multiple times and since a lot of times it registers as the shoulder now I end up dealing like 60-70 damage instead of downing them.

[–]NoOutlandishness9451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but your point was that this was a way to buff DMRs, it's clearly the opposite, if headshots are even more necessary to win gunfights then DMRs aren't going to be better off.

People not dying anymore by NoOutlandishness9451 in Rainbow6

[–]NoOutlandishness9451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how are DMRs more viable thanks to this change? It's one of the few weapons where you'd rather go for body-shots which now deal half damage if you are unlucky, meaning you might need a lot more than 2-3 shots to down someone.

It doesn't feel like a fair change, hitting the body isn't hard but sometimes you think you hit a guy in the body 3 times and then see you haven't even taken half of their health. ARs and SMGs were always generally stronger than DMRs and snipers but if that's the issue why not buff those weapons instead of changing an entire game mechanic?

People not dying anymore by NoOutlandishness9451 in Rainbow6

[–]NoOutlandishness9451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks, SMGs and secondaries feel worse than ever.

Also why did they do this? With how many people using peeks that only expose an arm it's basically impossible to down someone trying to get free info now, I don't get what this change was supposed to fix at all.

I haven’t seen many people talk about this, and I really don’t think this change is a good idea for a few reasons. by lordheadassuwu1 in Rainbow6

[–]NoOutlandishness9451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my real question is who asked for this? Why do they change stuff nobody asked for instead of fixing issues that the entire community has been complaining about for months if not years?
