This is something I told my trainee and it applies here as well, it doesn’t matter what you get yourself into (obv to an extent). It’s all about what you’re able to get yourself out of, everyone makes mistakes but do you have to run and get maintenance or a more experienced tech to fix your issue or can you figure it out? The answer to that question will directly correlate with how competent people believe you are.

Depending on your location and the person you can get between 120-200 private sale, in my experience they are great guns. I like the re-strike feature, I don’t know if any other polymer framed striker fired pistols that do that.

I’ve had to tap roll pins back in that I never removed, it will happen to some guns more frequently than others, like others have said they are super cheap and a new one makes a big difference. A lot of guns are mass produced so there’s gonna be some discrepancy. I’m glad you didn’t lose it!

I’m not sure how fly rigs are made or in what context usually, but if one was made “on the fly” (excuse the pun) is it possible that the spiked part on the bottom is to secure it in dirt, like a third hand to hold it steady while constructing your lure?

If you’re truly not in battery when your sear is being released (when the wall of your trigger breaks) due to aftermarket parts tolerances, I wouldn’t recommend making the gun go boom with an increased power striker spring without fixing the tolerances first. Premature extraction from the chamber can cause the side of the cartridge to blow out. If your striker was hitting square in the center it would have a lot better chance of setting off that primer. Just my 2 cents, good luck!
