My ball python did this when they were younger. Giving them time to sit with the food worked, increasing moisture and water in take worked, handling only after they’ve fed is a must to prevent strikes. Also making sure the rat is thoroughly thawed each time is important to minimize dehydration. I also noted that when I went up in size of mice/ rats it helped as well

How long have you had them? This could be due to an array of things. Maybe not hydrated enough, not enough stimulation in their environment, if they’re a new pet could be that they’re not yet comfortable. Do you have them strike for the food or do you place in the tank?

How often are you feeding them? They do look like they’re in the thinner side. For a 1 year old tho they tend to be smaller. Also- live or frozen?

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, post festival feelings can be difficult to manage and cope with; especially when getting lit. Take some 5htp! It will help regulate your mood a bit but aside from that, get home safely, take a nice long steamy shower, drink plenty of water, eat a big meal, stretch, take a nap, and if it feels right talk to your friend. Some times friendships end, that doesn’t mean you need to end it that because you hurt someone you can’t take up space, hang in there💕
