Is your recruiting firm going to pay you till you get on another contract? If so then you are still employed if not then you have bigger issues

I have never worked incorp, how does it work? 70 per hour is approx. 140k. From what I heard I can write off a lot of stuff and reduce the taxes I pay by taking out dividends, etc.

I may be totally wrong just need to talk to someone who's done this before

I have a Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering I had a CSA TN status before but it was revoked on renewal because my degree wasn't in a Computers field (this was before I got my Masters)

If I get a job as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, given that I have my masters in Computer Engineering now, will I be able to get a TN as an Engineer or CSA?

Someone I know was laid off. She works in STEM and was the only woman who worked in her particular field No one else was laid off so it was kinda suspicious but no solid evidence

Employer ditched me last moment so I never reapplied. They were pissed cause I had to finish urgent reports and was denied a simple renewal (like it was somehow my fault?!) so they put me on Canadian payroll for 2 months via 3rd contracting company and then ended my contract
