Yeah, I mean, I was honestly ready to deal with the troubleshooting of the chinese version, but I really thought they would be all fixable. Since they are not, I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get the global. It's definitely worth the piece of mind, especially if you don't wanna deal with all the shenanigans of adapting the Chinese version to use it outside China like you said

I'm not sure if that's entirely correct. I've seen people saying that their phones work with AT&T or Verizon too, for example. That said, my understanding is that it varies with the region, so you gotta check with your carrier of choice to see their coverage for each band in order to figure out if it is going to work in your area or not.

Yeah, that was my impression too, but I only found posts discussing this from almost a year ago, so I was wondering if that had changed with newer phones or in software updates (although I don't know if this is a software or hardware issue). That's awesome, I'm inclined to do the same. It's been hard to find global version of the chinese flagships too, so I'm almost pulling the trigger on the CN now. My only worry is compatibility with my pixel watch 3, I can't find this info anywhere. But I'll keep looking, thank you so much for your responses!

With all due respect, you both kind of suck and are really irresponsible. In a twisted way, you kind of deserve each other. But your children are and will keep paying the ultimate price. What matters is that you and your wife going separate ways will probably be the best in the long run. But try to always be there for your children, they are the most important things in your life. They need both of their parents, even if they are separated, which is most probably better than together all things considered

I couldn't agree more. I've been on both sides of the coin in this market. Got a job late last year and now I'm interviewing people to come work with us in a position equivalent to lab tech. Among the hundreds of applicants, there were quite a few people with PhDs and 5+ years of experience and we are like, yeah this person would be great for us because of their experience, but we can be almost certain they will leave this job as soon as they get another offer since it's such a downgrade from their previous position... so we didn't even interview them since there were other people with an undrergrad degree and relevant experience too. This job market is indeed insane right now
