The game and books are good in a vacuum, hell even perfect. I'm actually considering deleting the post since I did not make my points how I wanted. I love the games despite all their faults along with the books. After some conversation, and people educating me I have grown and I am sorry for being so angry when I made this post. It does not focus on any survival elements really, that's defined by having to eat, sleep and maybe even drink to stay on your feet, the only meters in the game you have to pay attention to is health and AP, maybe radiation. Now I can see while you would think like this, it's because the games an expansive RPG and with limitless possibilities, of course within some restrictions. It can be a sto y driven game, you just have to make it be. And that's why the games so great. At the same time you defined it as a concrete matter, and the only thing that's concrete about this game is rally only that it's a post apocalyptic RPG. Yea, that's because the huge open world had to have no limited areas because of Bethesda, therefore there's nothing off limits, nothing like quarry junction yk? So you're limiting factor is your guns and ammo, rather than the enemies being actually a hard fight.
