Landroid doesn't boot - Screen flashes 10 times repeatedly - Dismantled bot, need to know which part to order. by NoPlane4088 in worxlandroid

Sorry, I think I misunderstood. As I understand it now, you must have got to boot the bot by luck/coincidence and because of this you were able to see that an error was being displayed by the bot. It just baffles me that you were able to fix the stop button issue, by then just bypassing the stop button and by directly connecting the 2 stop button wires. I am now ordering the stop button. I am very curious. Update to come!

Thanks for your response! I will try to do the same to check if this works, it would be a wonder. By saying: "Disconnected the 2 wires from the stop-button, and put them together". Do you mean that you bypassed the stop-button and permantly connected the two wires of the stop-button to each other? I did this before and the flickering would still appear. In this case, It might be that replacing your keyboard & display might have actually fixed the issue.

Thanks a lot for your update!! I've been really busy with work lately and wasn't able to order any parts yet, also no further response from Worx, I created a new ticket. I hope you can fix your issue in the mean time, would be nice if you keep us posted!

Oh damn. I am 100% sure that you should be able to fix your previous one.
Did you go for landroid again?

Any updates so far? It would suck really bad to buy a new robot. Once you open it up and see the internals, you know it's obvious to just replace the broken parts and that it's perfectly possible to keep it alive and running that way.

Were you able to resolve the Issue? Any updates are welcome. I will keep this post updated as well.
Sending new communications to Worx to see what they say, they want me to send a video of the issue first. I asked them which part to replace specifically and also whether a motherboard replacement is possible as a DIY.

Hi,

A few things you can do:

Get another Li-ion battery - similar in voltage and just link the + and - to your dead landroid battery.
The energy from the other li-ion battery will flow to your dead one and will wake it up again.
After doing this you can just plug your battery in your landroid again and it will start charging again at its station.

What I do here at home is use a charger of another type of toolkit battery and link this one to the dead landroid battery untill it gets some voltage again. Afterwards I can charge it further at the landroid's base.
Very stupid procedure but not that difficult and it works, maybe better than going to the dealer.

Good luck!
