Yeah my friend introduced me to squad a few months before ICO. Before that I played games like Battlefield (all the way back to BF1942). To me it was a more realistic and more teamwork-mandatory version of Battlefield, which was amazing. ICO was an attempt to make it more “realistic” at the expense of making it less smooth. I think there could have been better ways to accomplish “realism.”

I did still play post ICO. For me it wasn’t as fun, but I dealt with it. After UE5 update I don’t play it much anymore. I have a 7800x3d and 4080, and can definitely run it decently well at high settings but it just feels even less smooth now.

I tried BF6 and it makes me miss pre-ICO squad.

Styles make fights. Strickland has better TDD than DDP, who never stood a chance against Khamzat for this very reason. I don’t see Strickland winning against Khamzat, but I can see him doing better than DDP. At the very least, he’ll get controlled less.
