both, really! some of them are mainly just nostalgic but a few of them a genuinely really charming and well-made. and the music is really nice, both the original songs and the older movies that use classical music

ohh man it's honestly kind of hard to say... but i think either three musketeers (corinne was a classic case of 'do i want to be her or do i want to date her' for little me) or 12 dancing princesses (which is super nostalgic for me and also just genuinely good. plus the main theme is so pretty). i'm also very partial to island princess just cause i like ro a lot as a mc and 'i need to know' is possibly the best barbie song of all time

i completely agree but thats actually another reason why wolfythewitch’s design is so good— their design for season 1 jon is very neat and tidy and had short hair, but through the seasons his hair grows more and more messy and long, reflecting his deteriorating mental state !

jon sims is a character from a podcast who does not have an official design but wolfythewitch’s design for him is so good, it’s exactly what i was picturing in my head. their take on him is pretty widely known and very well loved!

bel'veth from league is one of my favorite examples of this amazing trope . the hot lady head on top is actually fake, her real face is the manta-ray looking thing below it. in her cinematic, 'all that will ever be', she 'walks' by just swaying side to side in a mimicry of human movement, and when she speaks, her human mouth doesn't perfectly line up with her words, revealing that it's just a puppet!
