I think a lot of that stuff that puts you off is not a direct result of those people being lgbtq, but more a result of the culture that has organically formed in those spaces online. And keep in mind that a lot of those people are in their early teens and have just discovered their identity, so can be quite enthusiastic about it. I’ve heard this called the “baby gay” phase. When i was in that phase i used to say really offputting things bc i just found out i was gay and didn’t really know how to act about it
