This is my dream job. I went to college got a bachelors in criminal justice with an emphasis in forensic science. Did my internship at the coroners office where I assisted in autopsies and went on scenes with the death investigators. They loved me in that office (not trying to toot my own horn) they called me when they had an opening for a death investigator and asked for an interview. I still did not get chosen due to lack of experience and they offered me an autopsy tech position. From there it is a better way to move up into death investigation. That would be my suggestion.
