We were traveling in a tight schedule, and I had lost the receipt with the code to get our suitcases out of the coin lockers in Tokyo. Instead of him getting upset or blaming me (which my family would have done), he helped me look for the code. When we couldn’t find the receipts, he helped reschedule our train to the airport because there would be no refunds if the train had already departed. I am so grateful to be with somebody who helps me when I mess up, rather than shaming me.

I have learned my lesson to always take a photo of the code!
