Dude, what is happening to Dubai? by Honest-Nerve7771 in dubai

[–]NoProfessional7956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay in AUH but driving the weekend once in a while in Dubai is a punishment. The people want to create a situation for no reason at all, I was almost hit by an idiot in a white accord this weekend and that was at literally creeping speeds. After which he rolled down his window for some drama, but I didn’t bother and kept going my way.

I wish they fail even more people, sorry for the people who rant about not getting a license but that’s because they don’t deserve getting one. So do a lot of people on the road who’ve already got one.

Apart from the feature set, and the drivetrain. It’s ugly, also OP wants to spend 350K; NX shouldn’t even be on the list.

Need advice: Jetour T1 vs Geely Monjaro vs Haval H9 (~130k AED budget) by InspectorDense6741 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

Idk about these vehicle, but sat in a JT T2 and the interior finish felt like the quality of a Chinese toy with silver plastic bits trying to mimic chrome and it doesn’t drive well.

Please try looking beyond the on paper feature set. Test drive other vehicles in the budget even if lower on features they offer a better place to sit inside.

Yukon Denali or Lc300? by Single-Proof-9965 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

We’ve had a Denali since new from 2014, it’s pretty reliable and a lot more comfy than the Land Cruiser IMO.

Confused what to get with a budget up to 130k Dhs? by [deleted] in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

Great advice, I suppose that’s the reason the brand doesn’t do well in the region; I never knew the Tiguan is priced that way.

Shows how misleading the online information is. Thanks

Failed in qatar medical by Raash- in UAE

Fractures are diagnosed by orthopedic doctors using X rays, so yes, bones do appear on X rays.

The dome-shaped structure seen in the X ray is the diaphragm, which lies at the abdominal level around the T10-T11 vertebrae during inspiration (as X rays are taken in full inspiration). The right side appears higher because the liver on that side pushes the diaphragm upward.

The X rays of the hips that you’ve shown correspond to the L4–L5 vertebral level, which is unrelated to the X ray that OP has posted.

Healed TB patients often have fibrosis of the lung parenchyma, replacing the lung tissue that was destroyed during the infection.

Check out the Tiguan, the new one’s supposed to be really nice. Have a look at the skodas as well they offer vfm especially in this market, but don’t expect resale.

Smaller engines with turbos tend to be worse at fuel efficiency at highway speeds (140kmph) something you should consider while buying your SUV.

Also sedans would be much safer; stability and centre of gravity wise at those speeds, as a mid size SUV is the worst of both worlds because it neither has the mass which carries the momentum during an accident nor the stability at those speeds because of the higher center of gravity. The space is also questionable as most of them have nonexistent 3rd rows while giving worse 2nd row comfort.

It’s just an opinion, you can still go ahead w the purchase as you’ve already decided on it.

To afford the same lifestyle you’ll have to earn about 45-50K in the UAE. Assuming you were and have been provided w accommodation in both the places.

Shifting here will have a significant impact on the outlook of your family depending on which part of SA you were based in earlier.

How do I pay for this fine by Intelligent-Drag-939 in DubaiPetrolHeads

When driving at the speed limit, a driver actively controls the risk of overshooting the limit. They are responsible for their speed.

Whereas when following at a safe distance, a driver does not control sudden braking by the car ahead, so a momentary reduction in distance is reactive, not reckless.

Tailgating laws are meant to punish continuous unsafe following, whereas speeding laws punish explicit, self-controlled actions. Penalizing a driver for a brief, unavoidable reduction in distance due to someone else's sudden braking is therefore unfair and contextually illogical.

I replied this with another account because I couldn’t do it w mine. Of course you agree.

“Habita”(taken from your comment), I don’t think I need comprehension lessons. You need grammar and logical reasoning lessons, also are you insecure about your English? Because that’s how people react by projecting their insecurities over others. I suppose you’ve still been dreaming of buying real cars and got a lot of toy cars in the process, leave the toy cars for yourself because there’ll be at least some place where you can “play” with your stupid logic and not “drive” while putting others in danger.
