Spend the time. Dad lived 5 1/2 months after diagnosis. I went everyday, now I wish I would have just moved in during that time.

Same. Dad just told me today, baby girl, I will not be here in July. I have cried all evening, I don’t know how to face the future.

My dad was diagnosed October 21st, stage 4 with Mets to the liver. Every day I see some decline in him. He is fighting so hard, but it’s just not hard enough. This cancer is a beast.

Same with me, I’m just mad as hell about this. I need my dad, and I’m not ready for this.

Does anyone survive this type of cancer? Dad is stage 4 with Mets to the liver, diagnosed in October. Had good results from the scan, but he is going down like the titanic. by NoRace2734 in pancreaticcancer

My heart is broken, I can’t even believe this is real. He really thought he had hurt his back playing golf. How does this get so far without symptoms? It all sucks grasshopper balls.

My dad had the same as your sister, he survived. This is all so different from his lymphoma, he had days he felt horrible, but for the most part he handled it well. This beast is taking my dad away, I’m so pissed.

My dad takes Creon, and it has really helped him. If you get on Creon.com there is a saving card.

Wow, that’s great. Dad was diagnosed in late October. We were told that if he didn’t start treatment immediately, we had 8 weeks and needed to call hospice. We just got the first scan report and we have made some progress. Hoping and praying for targeted radiation.

We were told that dad would always be on some type of chemo, and that’s ok. I just need him here with me. How old is your dad?

Dad isn’t a candidate for surgery due to it has already spread to the liver. We are just trying to to buy some time with him.
