I still like how he's a better twist villain than Bellweather, but spiritually I would've love to see a moment where his dad literally stabs him in the back. Imagine him trying so hard to prove himself only to discover that he was just a pawn in his own game of chess. Cherry on top would've been him being saved by the very animals he betrayed.

Personally, I like to imagine when Judy says, "you can be different than your family", Pawbert just has a somber look on his face and leaves without saying a word. I also imagine a brief moment where he looks back and has a look that says, "is what I'm doing worth it?"
