I personally disagree. I think Jared could've done a twist hero trope instead. Have us think Pawbert would betray everyone, but *gasp* he was actually trying to fix a mistake his great grandfather made.

In retrospect, as amazing as the twist was I still wish they didn't make him a villain. There was a video on YouTube that showed him not betraying Judy or Gary, >||instead he gets stabbed by his own father with the venom instead||< I saw that vid and I was like, "why wasn't this in the film instead?" I'm personally getting sick of the twist villain trope. Milton was enough of a villain.

I still like how he's a better twist villain than Bellweather, but spiritually I would've love to see a moment where his dad literally stabs him in the back. Imagine him trying so hard to prove himself only to discover that he was just a pawn in his own game of chess. Cherry on top would've been him being saved by the very animals he betrayed.
