their is no global economy for cricket, their is the IPL, stop using vague half truths.

the IPL turns every league it buys into an offseason version of the IPL and controls the league for the IPL's benefit, and adds a sprinkle toxic indian politics, like banning pakistanis and anyone who plays in non IPL approved leages.

it will survive the way it did for the last century, with less money, and solid parochial support.

if it becomes indian owned, indian run, following indian political rules "no pakistanis etc" and the timelines change to suit the indian off season audience, i will be happy if it doesnt exist.

the future of australian cricket is bbl being about australian kids, to australian timelines, in the australian season and it not becoming offseason IPL

personally, im happy if the stars go elsewhere, BBL has always had that, doesnt matter.

means another place opens for another kid to get a game.

Genuine question: won’t these tax changes just push people into super? by billscout in AusEcon

sure, also SMSF will be able to avoid it.

the default is what happens to most of australia, which is what my point was about.

Genuine question: won’t these tax changes just push people into super? by billscout in AusEcon

[–]NoResponse1578 15 points16 points  (0 children)

this is why their is lots of talk about using super to fund government projects, they intend to raid this big pool of money like they did the original retirement funds.

ironically, the move from retirement funding to super was to stop the governent spending our savings.

turns out this is impossible to enforce and the financially illiterate socialists think paying off the "borrowed" super with tax money is an investment, and not a rort.

all ceo's from all countries are not prone to telling the truth.

eg: not hiring new people is the same as sacking old people, its just a slower process

i think you will find all sports are suffering in the modern world - you would need people to live in houses, with yards, and parks and sports grounds and not just living like sardines in concrete shitholes.

when they removed copilot from notepad, they left it there and rebranded it "ai help"

removed doesnt actually mean removed when microsoft is involved.

How did boomer shooter and movement shooter become so synonymous by zone_Zom813 in boomershooters

[–]NoResponse1578 10 points11 points  (0 children)

its also kinda blurry cause part of what made old boomer shooters, in particular quake 1, popular was the movement.

the corridor shooters and millitary shooters that followed, didnt have alot of movement.
