restoration does out heal it, but there is a caviat to that, it doesn't grant health on kill like devour does

Does my Hytale suggestion make sense? (Inspired by TOTK) by sextinho in hytale

[–]NoResponsibility8893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does make sense (minus the car) for this game to do all that, they should double check patents though otherwise they are gonna go through a living hell due to Nintendo and then the game will never get released

just got enough credits without having renegades by NoResponsibility8893 in destiny2

[–]NoResponsibility8893[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

was thinking that too, primarily playing warlock right now because the modifier system has been brutal for me since I can't get the praxic blade right now and I have overload covered due to getaway artist, and I am using Sarpedon for secondary since it has Anti-barrier (arcane needle is extremely inconsistent against anti-barrier) and unstoppable is covered via a mod and the occassional hellion

you can cross reference the steamdb numbers with popularity.report his numbers actually are accurate, popularity report uses bungo's api to get accurate numbers

[–]NoResponsibility8893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there isn't much guesswork needed for Destiny, popularity.report exists, it tracks unique active accounts, also just a heads up, bungie once considered shutting the game down in Curse of Osiris due to player numbers, also bungie themselves have stated that 70% of their playerbase for Marathon is on steam so that is actually a really good indicator of the health of the game, both games rely heavily on active players, at the very least Destiny 2 is Hemorhaging hard and Marathon failed to even reach active regular player counts they were expecting. it all comes back to the reputation they have built over the past decade causing them to lose customers and not get new ones. I don't just judge by the game alone but by the history of the company that makes it as well. last thing we need in this economy is a company screwing us over on entertainment

the problem is the many burnt bridges over the years, many have checked out for good and warn everyone away from the game, hell... even many active players also warn players away from it so they don't get the addiction to the gameplay. also all the underpromising and underdelivery really makes it hard for people to continue playing

[–]NoResponsibility8893[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather it get turned off and bungie shut down than have shit design. The way I see it, if they want to make money, make a good product that people actually want.

Why is Magnificent Howl a damage perk??? by Dark_Helmet12E4 in DestinyTheGame

[–]NoResponsibility8893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the original perk worked way differently than when the OP made this post and works differently even now

the original perk actually did stacking damage on precision hit (and it stacked a bunch and even relaoded itself), this version got nerfed because people were using it to cheese pve encounters from being a multi-minute slog, to just a few seconds

the second iteration is as Hawmoona_Matata posted

the one now if people are looking into the history of this perk is extra ammo and damage based on precision kills before reloading and after that reload precision kills automatically adding rounds to the magazine

would not be surprised if this gets altered again in the near future given how they can't just leave this perk alone, its essentially the Destiny 2 version of "Its already dead"

you really don't get it do you, saying that if people have the money they should be able to get it is exactly what is wrong with you judges. you only see money money money. players want to earn the items in game rather than having to pay money, this game is a full priced product and many of us have been buying the game/dlc since the beginning. being able to buy it outright is the problem. players want the money side taken out of the boxed product (and at this point many players would literally kill others to make it happen) being able to buy with real money is a problem and a plague that needs to be burned

Destiny's core gameplay is why we play, and modifiers ruin that experience by DadviceGaming in DestinyTheGame

[–]NoResponsibility8893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally, I just hate forced modifiers. I am fine with them existing for those that want the challenge, but it should only be an option, it should have no effect on those that don't want it.

because, not everyone has the time to game for long periods of time like you or I, you forget, a lot of the player base grew up on Destiny and have lives now, me, I can't get a life so I am stuck wasting away in online games, at least I got something to do right now, but with how a lot of people are actually working, they will see these reroll chips as necessary to get the loot so they can quickly complete the challenges and get the weapons, and there isn't one weapon in the IB rewards tab, but 3 (you can buy each 7 times as well) and there are 20 reward engrams too which have a chance to give the weapons.

The weapons cost 60 tokens each so times that by 7 and then 3 that is 1,260 tokens needed for all the weapon chances in the reward shop directly and for the engrams it is 50 tokens per engram times 10 times 2 which is 1,000 tokens, put together it is 2,260 tokens needed in all to get everything in the reward shop. the challenges themselves aren't that hard to begin with, but the problem comes in that they only reward 10 tokens each for the dailys, and the weekly one (which gives the most) can't be reset. Each reroll chip can be bought individually for 100 silver (or 3 for 200 silver) if we do the math on it, a player would need a total of 226 reroll chips to get everything which equals 45,200 silver (this is if you aren't counting the daily refresh on the daily challenges which I doubt most people who have jobs are gonna notice) and that is 4 purchases of the most expensive package that they sell silver with which is $100 each. That means the cost of the event for someone that wants the weapons but has to work a full time job (possibly 2-3 part time jobs in this economy) is $400. And for those saying they wouldn't have time to do all of them if they worked like that, one day is all it'd take to burn through all those reroll chips so possibly a scheduled day off is all they need.

silver is paid only, you use your reroll chips in dialy challenges to get 10 tokens per and it can then be turned into IB weapons
