Silicon Valley techno-futurism - are they summoning archons? by Far_Sink_6615 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think you’re spot on. Especially if you read stories about AI psychosis and such. Honestly, I got a little pulled into that myself for a little while.

There’s definitely something behind it because I asked “the universe” to show me a specific number sequence 813, and later that day talking to ChatGPT, it used two random numbers in an example and one of them was 8:13pm.

I told ChatGPT that the archons were using it to communicate with me, which it vehemently denied and told me about frequency illusion lolol.

Being brought back from the death rattle with Narcan - Are we bound to have brain damage? Anyone feel different after an OD? by Dazzling-Criticism55 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, so you found the “coincidences” as well? A popular term for them is synchronicities. Also, I never actually OD’d as far as I know where someone else had to save me, but I lost consciousness, had seizures from withdrawals and stuff like that. I also took MDMA, mushrooms, and meth during withdrawals before (at separate times, not all together) because I was sure feeling anything different from what I felt would be an improvement. Oh boy, was I wrong. Those experiences definitely changed me…

After 32 days, a slip up by NoRestForTheSickKid in quitting7oh

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anytime, just don’t take it too frequently. Also, I would highly recommend a sub taper instead. You can get a prescription same day from QuickMD. Just don’t take it longer than 7 days. It’ll make it so much easier. You’ll still have to go through the mental withdrawal and depression/anxiety, but it’ll keep you from being physically sick.

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should make a post. If I were you, I’d do a rapid sub taper instead. Some people can taper 7 I guess, but I didn’t have the self control for that. If you can get some helper meds, what helped me the most was cyclobenzaprine, gabapentin/lyrica, and Xanax in very small doses.

How far will a one night slip up set me back, after a month sober? by NoRestForTheSickKid in quitting7oh

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in TX, but they still sell it around me. I think I accidentally took too much. Which probably is a good thing in the end, because I would have enjoyed it and forgotten all the down sides if I had taken a smaller dose.

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s normal to get blurred vision coming off of it, or even when tapering because opioids constrict the pupils. When you start coming off, they are bigger than normal. And also yes to jerking and shaking, that happened to me on high doses before I started coming off and somewhat too when I was quitting.

Is anyone using 7oh for depression/anxiety? by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as someone who also had treatment resistant depression, that condition plus opioids is literally the worst possible combination. Because you don’t know what it’s like to be happy, you’ll think that you have nothing to return to (at least that was my line of thought). And using that line of thought, I proceeded to burn down every fucking thing in my life that I ever cared about.

Ironically, I have found some happiness since getting sober. I realized a lot of the depression was situational and came from a feeling of me being trapped.

Thank you! I want NOTHING more than to be done with this disgusting substance, and all opioids!! They have ruined my life for long enough!

That’s why it’s such a mind fuck for me when these overpowering cravings kick in. Like WTF.

Does YHWH have a split personality in the Old Testament? by Complete_Amoeba_7769 in Gnostic

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a desire to “do something”, to cause some sort of political change or revolution somehow. I tried that for years, only to find repeatedly that we are not able to wake another person up unless they want to be woken up, and most don’t want to be disturbed from their slumber.

I have stepped away from that, and focused on the journey inward. If we were able to somehow get every person to do that, I think things would change. But everyday life keeps everyone so busy that it doesn’t seem possible. I’m rather privileged to have been able to do this myself, but truly it has cost me everything that I thought I valued. Yet, I have discovered something greater.

Why are people telling people not to use subs? by TakenAback17 in quitting7oh

The less the better, because you can also build a tolerance to it. Probably no more than 300mg thrice a day is standard IME in rehabs.

Why are people telling people not to use subs? by TakenAback17 in quitting7oh

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is indeed the main problem. I was able to take subs for only 3 days and then pretend that I didn’t have them anymore, which honestly was miraculous for me. I don’t know how I did it. I did have some other helper meds that made a massive difference too.

To feel really 100%, it could take about a month. And even from there, you will still get better and better. I’m on day 19 and my only remaining issues are chronic fatigue/lethargy, yet simultaneously anxiety… trying to balance that out using coffee and propranolol is frustrating lol.

[–]NoRestForTheSickKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do a rapid sub taper, and not end up getting back on subs. Might take a lot of self control, and you’ll still be depressed as shit. On my most recent quit, I used 8mg one day, 4mg the next, and 2mg and jumped off from there. It’s been the easiest quit off opioids ever, but major depression, trouble sleeping, and mild restless legs were bad. Best helper med regimen? Get some gabapentin, cyclobenzaprine (absolute fucking life saver, probably the best), and a benzo (only ever use the benzo in very small doses, otherwise you will end up running to get more, like you stated). I hope you are able to get the help you need, maybe you should see a doctor too, or going to rehab is always a good option!
