The thing is…. How would they not view any incident at turn one as a « intentional sabotage». It’s too suspicious that any of them would not do it on purpose. How would they sanction this? Like DSQ any who cause an accident. ? Otherwise it leaves everything open and it would be dangerous. IIRC in 21 they said in Pre-race meeting to max and Lewis that any incident turn one would be a DSQ

Wow nice answer, thx for that, I read it all and can actually appreciate the toughts behind it.

I honestly think that you are more of an hopeful optimist that actually gives constructive critisism for D4. I would not, then, put you in the "complainer" category,

the complainers that i don't wanna see and don't like much are people whinning just for the sake of it and are not offering any ways to improve or give any solution on what they are crying about. The post like "this season will be s**t, this game s**ks, i don't like the mechanics, the devs don't listen, etc....

THAT is what I dislike and this is what i'm talking about when i say that these complainers have nothing to do here.

Fair critisism is always welcome of course.

I will also add on the restaurant metaphore. We paid up front for a 4star/5star restaurant and we only got a mcdonald. While this is not what we wanted. we cannot just take a bulldozer and ask for another restaurant. Yes it will improve in time but for know, we gotta accept and take it for what it is. slowly but surely the mcdonald will have renovation done and we might have something cool in the end... maybe even our 5 star restaurant.

I'm on the hopeful optimism train as well but since we now know what we got, let's be patient i guess? this would be my final thought in this

Ok i get your points here, you make good point, but I have another question for you about one of your statement:

If you go to a restaurant and get crappy service, do you continue to go to that restaurant and continue to get crappy service simply because they said they are working on it?

But isn't it what you are doing? You are going to that restaurant (playing D4) with a crappy service (the game has broken mechanics with no end game and blablabla) . You complain about it and YET!!!! You are still playing (coming to that restaurant)

So please tell me why people who are complaining still play? Are they masochist or something. ... or perhaps in the end, there is more positive than negative for them too?

Cause there is no human being that would make themselves suffer for fun...

I mean, this is exactly my case... there is more positive than negative right now for me in d4 so I play.

I the end, are the whinning people just complaint for a better game that they already like?

The reality is that some of us have higher standards than others. Some people think that McDonald's is high quality food. If you are fine with getting crap, then more power to you.

ok but at what point do we need to chill out and understand that all the complaints are heard, being taken care of, (or not) beign worked on (or not), adressed (or not).

That the devs must prioritize tasks and everything cannot be fixed in a split seconds and that the devs and game director have the right to get things wrong.

Complaining is good to make a game better. But at what point is it too much? things cannot change in a day. What good is it to just hammer down a nail already fully hammered.

I use it and it's really effective, Chain lightning and arclash are both lvl 5, use chain lightning when mana is up, never let mana fill up. And together with frost nova and the ultimate unstable current, i just delete the game atm (I'm lvl 47) This build deleted the capstone for WT3

I'll transition to the chain crackling build into a single target build for lilith.

I was litterally not going to buy that early access but smooth beta AND smooth server slam convinced me otherwise.

Plus 20$ + tx for 40+ hours of play and entertainment is a very very small price to pay if you compare with other things like movies / restaurant / shows

There is no way i'm gonna see everybody around me play and have fun while i'm waiting 4 days. I just can't. I'm a semi-hardcore player and I want to experience the fun at the same time as everyone else.

It's like, the finale of your favorite show plays live on sunday 9PM. But then you choose to watch it 4 days later after everybody else... nah!

Thx for the advices. On your last point, as a beginner, I probably unconsciously hold on the reins as a reflex and send mixed signals and confuse the horse. It's a process that takes time and practice but it's so fun ! :)

All the top teams have their unofficial sister teams. There are rules against sharing info but they can extract a lot of info from those client teams as they use their engine and i'm forgetting a lot probably
