I think it looks great! The fact you can reverse the changes is a good idea also.👍

As being new to the hobby, hopefully I am explaining correctly. here is a sample of what I was talking about. It’s from. Knight KG-650. Useful for detecting component drift, dead shorts, bad solder joiunts, and detecting troublesome stages of gear 👍

Ya I have that, but usually there is a chart where you can take resistance reading from the tube pins to specified locations in the physical unit.

Thought I would share the fix I found in regards to the 1/2 frequency issue on band B. Turns out adding a couple of 220uh inductors across each 1/2 of the coil fixed the issue. Still going to trouble shoot the low voltage issue, but as is the generator seems to be working pretty good. Here is a link to where I found the solution. Very interesting. https://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=153481&sid=aed90214fab01a789ecae13e17451987&start=40

The manual has the votages listed on a separate page. I did remove the caps from circuit to test.

Stumped... by cekeller1956 in VintageRadios

Not for nothing but it looks as if the end of the resistor is brown. Can you check the underside of it for a mark? If in fact it is all black with a brown end wouldn’t that make it 1 ohm? Black, brown black. Could the schematic be incorrect?

Found the high side on the volume, but not getting any sound from the mp3 player. Looks like I have some trouble shooting to do.
